House-league Teams: West End Basketball League $250.00
NOTE: If there is enough players registered to make more than one team we will make every effort to field a second team to join the house-league WEBL while the first team will play in the EOBLa (competitive).
The following competitive programming will be available for the 2018/19 season however house-league (selects) teams will be added and are dependant on sufficient registration to field a second team at each age group.
Novice Boys (U10) and Novice Girls (U10)
-The Novice Program Runs for 12 weeks starting in early October with 1hr practices each week. This program is an introduction to basketball and emphasizes fundamentals during drills and scrimmages.
Atom Boys (U12) - As a competitive team the Atom boys will be registered to play in the Ontario Basketball League East (OBL-East). The team will practice twice a week and games will be held on Saturdays or Sundays. (Oct. - Mar) approx. 25 games league/tournament.
Atom Girls (U12) - the Atom girls will once again be represented in the Eastern Ontario Basketball Association (EOBA). This team will practice twice weekly with games on weekends throughout Eastern Ontario. (Oct-Mar) (20-25games)
Bantam Boys (U14) - After a successful first season as a competitive team the Bantam boys will be registered to play in the Ontario Basketball League East (OBL-East). This team will practice twice a week with games on the week-ends from throughout Eastern Ontario Oct.- March. approx. 30-35 games .
Bantam Girls (U14) - the Bantam girls will practice twice a week and will once again compete in the EOBA October thru March. 30-35 games.
Midget Boys (U16) - the Midget boys will practice twice a week and will once again compete in the EOBA (Oct - May) approx. 40 games
Midget Girls (U16) - the Midget girls will practice twice a week and will once again compete in the EOBA (Oct - May) approx. 40 games
Practices may be held at the following gyms depending on availability: ADHS, AJ Charbonneau, McNabb P.S., R.C.I., St. Joes (Renfrew)
Registration for all 2018/19 teams will be held at Arnprior District High School - cafeteria September 17th and 19th 6:30pm-8:30pm. Try-out schedule will be provided at that time. Novices do not have tryouts and are registered on a first come first serve basis (max. 20 boys and 20 girls).
